Reading Glasses Prescription Calculator Instructions
1) Download and print a hard copy of this page. (You must use a hard copy or the eye test won’t work correctly.) In case you weren’t aware, computer monitors differ in size and resolutions. So be sure to work with a printed hard copy to assure your accuracy.
2) Measure the chart you’ve printed. When measured, the side-to-side width should measure precisely 5 inches. It’s important you verify it’s 5 inches wide. If it isn’t, please send us an email message at Customer.Concierge@ReadingGlasses.CO . It will be our pleasure to send to you via USPS a FREE printed eye chart to help you establish your ideal strength. (Be sure and include your physical mailing address).
3) Determine your strength. With the printed chart in your hand measuring 5 inches in width, hold the chart about 14 inches from your eyes and look at it WITHOUT CONTACT LENSES OR EYEGLASSES. Notice the first line you have difficulty reading? The lens strength that appears toward the left side of the line you’re having difficulty reading is your strength. That's the diopter strength you should order.
